Three (3) record grab bag from DJ Shadow’s 6th Annual Storage Sale at Rappcats.

We started these annual record sales with Shadow nearly a decade ago and he has barely scratched the surface of what must be at least a million records in his possession. These are not, Shadow says, his “hard filed” records - many of those are one of a kind, the rarest, most desirable records in the world. These are records Shadow bought, processed – Shadow’s way of saying “listened to, considered and inspected” – and kept. Some are spares. Some are just interesting records he thought someone else might want. Many are private-pressed one-offs. Some are probably genius. Some are probably un-listenable. But that’s the joy of collecting, and this is a chance to have three records Shadow picked shipped to your house.

• Three vinyl records selected at random from DJ Shadow’s Storage Unit. These may be LPs, 12-inch singles, or EPs. Each grab bag comes with a card notating the records’ provenance. While Shadow brought mostly clean records to his sale, no guarantee is being made about the condition of these records and this grab bag is a one-way, non-returnable sale.

• One in 20 of the grab bags selected at random will also contain a fourth record: DJ Shadow's “Ozone Scraper b/w She's Evolving (Action Adventure 3x45 Series),” a 7-inch single with a tip-on sleeve, hand stamped by Shadow, and sold exclusively at Shadow’s Rappcats event in September 2023. This page will be updated when our stock of the 45s are gone.
