Now-Again Records is helping Sonor Music Editions in announcing the debut 45 by The Kimba Unit, Julian Rapaport's project. Julian's a great dude - we first met him at the Henry Franklin pop up record shop we hosted a few years back. Since then, he and Egon have developed a friendship based around musical discovery.

Julian grew up in Los Angeles, and traveled to New York to continue his musical studies with Reggie Workman and others. He loves Sun Ra and Steve Kuhn, Madlib and Mulatu and outsider 80s new age music and loner folk records equally and in turn.  

This EP contains three tracks, Julian's home studio recordings, in his preferred Lo-Fi style, a la Owen Marshall.
