Legendary L.A. producer DJ Muggs has announced a forthcoming album Assassination Day, to be released August 3rd via Soul Assassins Records. The album will be released as individual chapters with various MC’s.
Assassination Day is a thematic album with a vigilante concept where hip-hop takes corruption head-on, figuratively killing off powerful evildoers in positions of power as the story unfolds.
A digital release of MUGGS X DOOM “Deathwish”/”Assassination Day” will follow on June 29. The vinyl is shipping now. Other editions of the vinyl are available via soulassassins.com and hhv.de.
